Okay, a "guess" it is. More of a postulation, really, but let's not split hairs.

Aaron wouldn't have your respect if he were thievish, so the devious intrusion must be for some other purpose.
If this were his own place, or yours, there'd be no need to enter through a window. Further, the dog would be no surprise.
This must be the residence of someone Aaron knows, but not so well as to know about the fierce dog.
Best posit: Aaron wants to play a prank on a friend, and intends to "booby-trap" something in the friend's home.
The angry dog, however, will be getting the last laugh. Time to go shopping for new britches, bucko. ;P

My my you've really thought this through hehe. Well i think it's good. And yeah I think Aaron is the one who does the stupidest things while Chance is the one to tell him otherwise. Although it's opposite in my comic "hot as hell"
